24 goals in 32 games in lg and ..but i wont be getting relegated...decent defence

no matter who i sign, what tic tacs i play, how attacking i want to be, i just cant seem to score goals ffs....
for instance....benni mccarthy p25 s 2.....sold him to liverpool for £7mill and he has scored 8 in about 10 games ffs
....
its spoiling the game coz i cant fathem it out
