Is it me or have attitudes changed dramatically over the past 50 years or so? I seem to remember that the majority of adults when I was in my childhood had grand thoughts of how they would be treated on their deathbed.

Many would have paid for their funeral in advance thru the co-op and their weekly or monthly payment would have a higher priority than the house rent

Didn't matter how you lived - as long as you got the best when you died! Yet, only two accyweb members have so far voted for "no expense spared"

Does anyone elase have similar recollections?
