OMG Fireman you poor thing , no matter what you hear right now nothing will take the hurt you are feeling away .Your friend has probably treasured having you by his side ,I understand the pain you are both going through as I ve been there myself with my ex mum in law .
Dont be affraid to cry ,It does take a bigger man to show his emotions and if only everyone were as lucky to have a friend like you ..
