Logged onto the Internet about 10 years ago with above system using a shell account that allowed me to use Pine for mail and news and Linx for text only web browsing... 350 quid a quarter phone bills.... ahhh them where the days...NOT

No wonder people can't understand when I sigh at them just after they ask if a pentium4 with 20 gig HD is enough for them to go on the internet.... tsk
