I haven't read the telegraph tonight but maybe this is not a bad thing. If the other girls at her school see the way she is treated, it may act as a deterrent to them. The only way to reduce these teenage pregnancies is for parents to educate their children honestly about sex... The school is not responsible for this (unless she conceived in school ) There needs to be a degree of stigma... I never thought that I would actually say that but after our government's social experiments of giving them everything, our teenage pregnancy rate only seems to be increasing.

It may be that it is the girl and her parents who are left holding the baby but it is not the schools or the government's fault.....It's theirs and theirs alone. At least, these days, there are paternity tests which are accurate so that the male can take some of the flack. Hopefully, this girl and her family will learn their lesson and not let this happen again, to her or a sister.
