1. The food .. never been a country for haute cuisine, particularly lack of dairy products.
2. Clothes ... old fashioned and frumpy and if you don't wear the t-shirt and denims, forget it.
3. Cigarettes ... even though where you live LancsYorkee grow the stuff.. just don't know how to put a decent fag together.
Not getting into the politics, just the material things.
Will go onto the things I liked now, which outweigh the above. x
