I know of a few companies that will honor you earned NCB upto 3 years.

And a few that will give you the equivalent if you where a named driver on a family members car upto 4 years NCB.

Brokers do not go for the highest premium they go for the cheapest price to meet your needs.

It really all boils down to who at the brokers, companies you are speaking to as a lot dont have a clue.
