Thing is there is probably some little part on it that is now totally unobtainable so for someone with a nice classic mini its worth buying for that one small component. I know that for example old Honda 400/4 motorcycles can be picked up for ~£700 yet if you have an original chrome front mudguard for one or an original exhaust in good condition they are bringing over £600 each as people are now restoring the bikes and simply can't get 'original' components anymore.
