Can anyone help trying to find out about the history around Whalley Road, Accrington (near the Oaklea). Does anyone know when the houses were built? What was there before the houses were built? It seems I've got myself a friend who insists on knocking on the wall every morining at around 4am. Any information anyone can give me would really be appreciated, been doing a bit of research myself but to no avail so far.
