MFC have announced officially that Michael Twiss has signed a 3 year extension to his present contract, thereby ending weeks of speculation.

The club have also announced that planning permission has been given for a muli million pound stand and public house development at Christie Park. Work is expected to commence in the New Year in readiness for season 2007-08.

The new development will accomodate an additional 300 seated spectators in the 3 floored structure, as well as providing a continuous revenue stream from its offices; catering facilities and corporate sponsorship areas.
