No Willow, nothing to do with 'hard wearing' just more superior finer quality.
As with the sheets, as I have explained on percales, doesn't last any longer than one you would think of as a Hospital Sheet ...
("eee luv, what a cracking bit of cloth" does actually crack if you grip between yer hands and pull quick .. just thicker yarn)..
percales just soooooooooo lovely to sleep in with that softnest, believe me.
