Re: 60's Odds, Sods & Mods
[QUOTE=LancYorkYankee;356780] A BIT of a Thread Wonder
I was exposed to "60s music" mostly from my older brother. He was born in 1955 as I was 1960. So he was smack-dab in the middle of the Rock and Roll revolution. Oh how my parents hated that "punks on dope music."
My brother would smuggle records in. First album he ever bought was by Cream. I couldn't understand what a Cream was but I LOVED his second album: "Meaty, Beaty, Big and Bouncy" by the Who.
]Cream consisted of Eric Clapton,Jack Bruce,and Ginger Baker LYY think they made 4 albums before disbanding,never played up north sadly,my late mrs had all the albums Disreali Gears being my personal fav,they were probably a Super Group,before the term was used........
