Did I have a good Christmas? Well, no actually. And why not? I had flu.

When I say flu, I don't mean a heavy cold etc., I didn't have a cold at all. It started with a painful throat and a disgusting cough, last Thursday, then the shivering started, then - I zonked. I spent Friday to Monday in bed most of the time, feeling dreadful. My Christmas dinner went in the bin and I couldn't even face a chocolate. It's a long time since I felt quite so ill.

I haven't heard of anyone else with my symptoms, round here, but I can't be the only one. Has the flu bug hit Accrington or have you all been lucky?

Anyway, here's to a happy New Year and Good Health to everyone (and I really mean that).
