I've got two walls where wall clocks refuse to work - the one at the bottom of the stairs which I mentioned earlier in the thread and which still has a duff clock on it, and over the fireplace in the dining room but there's a picture there now and a clock on the mantlepiece instead. The one that used to be in the dining room was a wind up clock with a pendulum and Westminster chimes. It was lovely. Like Shillelagh's clock it worked perfectly in the shop but just refused to work at home - in the end we just gave up to it and packed it up in a box. Maybe someday somebody will have a wall where it works. It's a 3-key clock in a beautiful carved wooden case - lovely to look at but totally useless for telling the time by.
