Re: Clayton End Roof or League Status
the roof is going up weather (I know!) or not so I will say catogorically, LEAGUE STATUS.
If the roof wasn't going up then I would say LEAGUE STATUS on condition that we put up a roof in the summer.
League status is important but can be recovered if we lose it. The roof is losing the club thousands of pounds every single week, the people who do go on are losing morale and faith and therefore not enjoying it as they should. Roof equals ability to attract more fans thus gate monies, programmes, shirts etc etc, roof equals better atmosphere (guarantee) which increases the enjoyment for the fans and a needed boost for the players.
