I'll bet some very good money that there's considerably more than one!
Sings:
"Standing on the corner, watching all the girls go by,
Standing on the corner, underneath a moonlit sky,
Brother if you've got a rich imagination,
Give it a whirl, give it a try,
You're only standing on the corner, watching all the girls go by!"
Nothing at all wrong with looking, but don't run around pawing things!
Good old John Irving! Ususally a very good writer, sometimes a great one. Of course, he loves New Hampshire (as I do, having gone to college there and having my vacation home there), so I not only like the writing, but the settings are very familiar and more than a bit comfortable.
