Can you set up some type of quaint trap for them. I don't mean a bear trap with those pointy sticks at the bottom . . . Hmm, then again, would solve the problem but you might lose the mailman and milkman also but I digress.
I was thinking stringy bells or empty cans across your walkway. Something that'll scare the bejesus out of em. Can you borrow a "pitbull" type of dog?
For added significance, when the trap is rattled, shoot the little buggers in the butt with a bb gun.
