Who said anything about shooting them?Clip their nails & remove their teeth will do.Maybe the owner could find someone to take the dog out for them due to un sociable working hours or maybe it's like someone who lived next door to us who left the dog on its own all day while they were at work so it could yapyapyapyap all sodding day while tired git nightshift worker here went through mental torture  .
