Wasn't Dill Hall Lane destroyed when they created Dunkenhalgh Way to link up to the motorway?

i was only a nipper but i thought both co-icided as part of the big masterplan ie: build bypass and easier access for delivery waggons etc

i remember waggons having to reverse up dill hall lane because it was so steep

but i may be wrong
