Yesterday the lady who bought my late mum's house, in Feniscowles, took a box to my eldest brother's. They had had to do some repairs to the water tank in the loft and found the box up there.
When he opened it he found dozens of drawings and paintings I had done at Paddock House, including one for an exam with the The Royal Drawing Society when I was 13 (can't remember a thing about it), and technical drawings he had done at night school in his first job. My parents had, obviously, kept them safely but we had no idea until now.
The lady said there was another box up there, that they hadn't been able to get at, but they would before too long. I can't wait to find out what's in it.
