I got text asking me where his Valentine's card was .. OK, where's me bunch of Roses then? Needless to say never saw even a thorn... 
Saddest thing was, during E-Mail conversation with 24 year old son, sent throw-away post-script with "Did you send anyone special any roses today?" (Mothers have got to know these things you understand)' Reply was " Nope, not sent anybody any roses. It's just Wednesday" Have I failed miserably as a Mother, and not trained him proper ?  |
