apple shoud allow file transfers both ways period so that people who arnt aware of other applications out there dont have to loose their stuff, incidently these other applications arnt free either but do have an allowence of up to 10 transfers before you have to buy them
there is no way what so ever for you to save your ipod files using itunes and to say these things are targeted at kids you would think ease of use woudl be top priority
my brother bought a new pc at xmas and his daughter had to redo all her ipod because when she went to add files it synced up and wiped her ipod
so i stand by my statement that apple suck
one more thing
have you bought an ipod , it comes with nothing , if you dont have the internet you cant get itune for your pc , apple are too tight to pack a cd with their product
