Mani, the homeless legislation doesn't state that just because you are homeless that you are entitled to a home, believe it or not!The authority that you "reside" in have a duty to offer advice and assistance... and many homeless hostels are full in this area alot of the time.They then would assess you under the homelessness act but straight away if you are single with no medical need then you are not classed as a priority!
