Kippers are smoked Mackerel, very tasty, there is a close relation in Arbroath smokies.
Smoked haddock and cod comes in two forms, teh artifical 'smoked' variety usually bright yellow in colour or the proper smoked stuff usually slight yellow/brown hint to it. The latter is fgar superior IMHO, lightly poached on mashed spud witha runny poacked egg on top!
There is a stall that goes to Helmshore Farmers market that does smoked all sorts, prawns/marlin/black pud, you name it they smoke it
