Folk have been calling folk folk for donkey's years. The only difference is that Lancashire folk pronounce it 'foke'
Interesting that you used the term 'bod' Mancie. I used to say that a lot at work and one of the bosses asked me where I got it from as he said it was an old RAF term that he hadn't heard elsewhere in civvie street.
