No matter what the amount I still think the principle should be the same, it should be divided equally.
As others have said, either amount is still more than either can spend in a life time.
Let them carry on bickering. One thing's for sure, whatever the outcome they'll be just like the rest of us...unable to take it with them when they're dead!
