Suppose we are the only club ever to go bust and reform????

Thought not.

Try telling Bristol City fans they only go back to 1984 and they never played in the top flight, that Gerry Gow, Paul Cheesley and Kevin and Gary Mabbutt played for a different "team".

Try telling Middlesborough fans that they only go back to 1986 and that Wilf Mannion Brian Clough and John Hickton played for a different team.

A football club is the goodwill that attaches to its name and the loyalty of its fan base.

Accrington Stanley are and always will be one of the most famous names in the world and the latest tribulations just add another twist to the folklore and fascination that attaches to the club regardless of what league they find themselves in next year.

Can the same be said of your club????
