Re: vs Swindon
I forecast on the thread we'd lose by 2 clear goals at Swindon.
At least we didn't concede 4 as I feared.
Any one who saw them under Wise at the FES will know that they are a strong team. When Wednesday were in League 1 a couple of years ago they beat us at the County Ground and were generally play off contenders. They should never have got relegated. They have since acquired Wednesday's management team, the most successful in Leagues 1 and 2, who rebuilt Plymouth from League 2 to a Championship outfit and turned Wednesday from League 1 relegation contenders to a play off winning Championship side in the space of six months on very little money.
Stanley need to treat all their home games as cup finals and accumulate as many points as they can on their travels.
If they scrap for everything they have the ability to pick up some points away and even the odd win there. Unless the points deduction makes it inevitable I trust Coley and the players not to accept that MK Dons' programme could join the Ebay picture frame as our last in the League.
