Re: vs Swindon

Whatever happens, just enjoy the ride. Of course if we stay up it'lll be wonderful but it's no the end of the world if we go down. A club like ours has no right to be in the League, and we should be over the moon to be here. Crowds, stadium etc show this. Last season we won the Conference with the 14th highest wage bill. We have been punching above our weight for the last 6 years. Essentially we're (at best) a mid-table Conference club who struck it lucky and got a once in a lifetime opportunity. If we go down, we can do it with pride. When teams like Barnsley and Swindon talk about their brief stints in the Premiership they talk with pride. Pride that their little club shook the establishment. So should we. How many Conference promotees worked the way up like us. Very few, the majority are all League drop outs (Hereford, Carlisle, Shrewbury etc).

If we go down we can say to the likes of Alty - "look, at least weve been there".

Finally how far do you realistically think we can go. Were any of you really expecting play-offs this year? I think our recent succcess has gone to some peoples heads. People who preffered winning in the Conference to struggling in the football League need to sort their priorities out.

Coley will be hear next year. Get over it.
