As a non-smoker I'm all for banning smoking in restaurants so that it doesn't affect the food. I'm on the fence regarding pubs because I feel that if I choose to go somewhere smoky then it's my choice and nobody forced me to go there so I have no business moaning about it but it is nicer when the air isn't thick with fog.

However, what hadn't dawned on me until now is that the ban will also apply to shisha cafes where people actually go to actually smoke yer actual shisha pipes! Sheesh! I mean it's like banning alcohol from pubs.
