It was very nice to be able to be out getting the garden tilled, postholes dug, brush cleared, mulching and some staining done. In my little pond, even had the turtles coming out of their winter slumber.

) Spent most of teh day burning a bunch of brush. Couldn't get Ian's thoughts on this out of my mind
. It was somewhat humorous. There really isn't much alternative as I've built a number of brush piles for the wildlife and have to keep the flamables down. It gets really bad around here when the mountains catch fire! Hello . . . no one really cares about "A Day In The Life of LYY" eh? Alright then, I'm off to put more linament on my aching muscles! (it feels great to be sore from a hard day of physical work!)
