Denbo and Doreen used to live in Park Avenue in Gt Harwood before they took the Park Inn, I lived round the corner in Coronation St. Dennis worked for his dad then, he was a bookmaker in Blackburn in that street opposite The Dun Horse pub, I think he finished at the Ossy Tory club, I think we are on about the same couple.------------------- you are correct,Denbo had the con on Rhydding street, for a good few years, he used to ring me up occasionally when he wanted a 50s/60s disco for some special do or other,a great bloke with a dry sense of humour.
