As I said in an earlier post...we got hitched on a wet Monday morning at the Haslingden register office...our 'worldly goods' amounted to £60...so it was an extremely low key occasion. My hubby has asked me to marry him in more lavish circumstances ever since...aproximately at two yearly intervals....and I have said 'NO' every time......because as far as I am concerned that one time was forever....regardless of the place and the lack of pomp and ceremony.....after all it isn't the pomp and ceremony that make a marriage.....is it?
