I've got a photo, somewhere, of me having just used my husband's car as a screen while I irrigated the parched desert in Saudi Arabia. It's quite decent - he waited until I was modestly covered up (well, almost) before he took the photo.
On the way to Saudi my, then 9 year old, younger daughter and I stayed overnight in Cairo. Arriving at the airport we went to the loo - beautifully clean. I went in a cubicle which was quite normal but my daughter, in the next-door one, suddenly wailed, "Mum, there's no seat. It's just a hole." We found that every other cubicle had an Arab-style toilet, a grid in the floor and a water-spray tube insted of paper.
