Last night my new pc (Windows XP one) decided to shut itself off for no reason and came up with boot from disk. Three times I tried turning it off, leaving it for a while, then swtich it back on and 3 times got the same error screen.
It was late, nothing I could do at that time of night so I switched the system off and went to bed expecting a pc 'fix it' day today with many tears and tantrums.
This morning it's back on
.... just loaded Windows without a problem
Anyone any ideas what it might have been so I can check there isn't some serious thing that might happen again.
