Eeeeeeeewwwwww!!! Pig nipples!!! Someone pass me a bucket. Never done pickled eggs either. The soft bits in the pork scratchings will be bits of fat which haven't crisped up during cooking. I suppose it may depend on which part of the pig the scratching has come from........ I've heard that the fat from around pigs bum holes doesn't go crisp.
