I arrived in Tenerife around lunchtime yesterday. Not a bad flight but I'm well wrecked as I don't do early mornings. Wandering around Exeter Airport at five am wasn't good, especially as I couldn't have a quick ciggie before boarding!

I've been sitting here pondering on the changes in England since my last visit around a year ago and I must admit that there haven't been many. The same folk sitting in the same seats in the local pub, my mates greeting me as if they saw me the day before and even the grandchildren carting on as normal. I thought I might have been missed!!

This non smoking thingy isn't looking good. A couple of months before it becomes law and there are so many places who have banned it already. Thankfully, the weather was so lovely whilst I was there it didn't become a problem but I dread to think what winter will bring.

I had a lovely holiday but it's so nice to be back home x
