Seem to remember there used to be a Blackburn bus every 15 minutes (4 an hour) and in between there was the Ossy bus which came into Accy center from Clayton so the folks who lived around the Antley and Church had a great service , think the Blackburn buses charged a penny (1d) more than Accrington Corporation if you used them before the traffic lights at Church .

The bus can take 20-40minutes depending on route and costs the same as a train.. although for my friend who lives in Rishton it is cheaper to catch the train. Thats why I got it, because she was getting it .. and it NORMALLY takes 10minutes or less
