Do we think that any powers permitted to this self appointed committee will stop at divorce and child custody issues?
Once appointed these clerics will be the only route allowed for many Muslims,surely this cannot be right in this day and age.
As discussed earlier we are the soft touch of Europe on everything from doling out benefits to turning a blind eye lest we offend minorities.For many Asian women this will be a retrograde step in their freedom from oppression of every kind.
Time will tell.
