And what about non PC purchases like tobacco sweets; packs of cigarettes with pink tips, chocolate cigars and sweet rolling tobacco in pouches. How did our teeth ever survive??

We used to buy REAL cigarettes `singles` from a shop up Burnley road in Clayton. You would ask for how many you wanted and she waould give you them in a little toffee bag and a few matches to go with them
