Sounds like a major crime wave ... now if certain people had their way and everyone was armed to the teeth the garbage truck would be hauling away dead and maimed purloiners of plants. Try having a 130lb Rottweiller roaming in your garden. Mine keeps people away from my yard and the toys in my driveway. She is also huggable, and warms up the bed in winter.

On s more serious note ... motion sensor lights work really well.
