This actually reminds me of something very funny. My mate bought a pc and she has a glass PC stand. She kept trying the optical mouse but nothing happened. So we borrowed another mouse off her neighbor...still nothing. In the end we thought it was the USB port that wasn't working so we swapped it.....still nothing. after a while of thinking what could be wrong, I picked a piece of card up and put the mouse on it and it worked perfect
the moral of the story is..........MOUSES DONT WORK ON GLASS
