I've found that it helps to have some Nicorette chewing gum and although it doesn't go with a pint, it's better than nowt!
My main problem is not being able to take my 'hip flask'. I get so scared that a gobfull of brandy helps me to control my nerves.
Mind you, worrying about no fags and no brandy sort of takes the edge off worrying about the plane!

The only thing is though as anyone thought of this you have to be at the airport for 2hrs before your flight, you check in go through all the security checks - then nip out for a fag 15 mins before your flight because you know you cant have a fag for the next 3 hrs - what happens when you've had your fag and have to go back thro all the security checks because you've been outside and miss your plane!!!
