Lotto cash for Hyndburn.

Hyndburn has one of the highest number of grants awarded in one borough, with eight organisations to benefit.

Accrington Stanley Supp-orters' Club successfully bid for £3,446, and the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley branch of Community Gardening received £5,070.

Cultural development received a boost, with the Hyndburn Mela and Community Festival Assoc-iation awarded £4,650 and £9,903 going to Manzil Cultural Arts and Training Group. The PROSPECTS Foundation, a community-owned charity working for environmental change in Hyndburn, received £4,960, and the East Lancashire County Scout Council £7,160. In education, Rhyddings Business and Enterprise School in Oswaldtwistle was awarded £9,926.
