I think perhaps the most memorable, and startling, moment of telly I ever saw was when Julian Clarey made his little comment about Norman Lamont. Actually I just missed the original as I was making a coffee but my husband rushed into the kitchen and said, "You'll never believe what Clarey's just said." When he told me I was gobsmacked (and so was Norman Lamont).
