Just wanted to take this time to "discuss" my good feelings over my trip. It was so very nice to meet many of you. I so enjoyed my time spent at Ianto's home (and later early day pub experience), Rindy's home, Willow's neighbor's home
, and especially the time spent with mez and Susan and all the folks who stopped by for a visit
.
The food (meat and potato pies, fish and chips, eccles cakes, etc) was absolutely spot on as was my culture lessons. Got to see real live chavs/hooligans and the many "Asians" that have been discussed on Accyweb.
It was ashame that I didn't get to see those who have "drifted" off Accyweb. Would have so enjoyed to meet you guys.
Thanks to all who allowed me to share a bit of my Faith with them. I trust I was able to show you a different view of what "religion" or better, of my simple beliefs. Please feel free to ask me any questions. For those who accepted the little booklet and/or CDs of a couple of our services, I hope you share those with others who showed an interest.
I look forward to my return. This trip allowed me to feel much closer to many of you guys. Please feel free to have a go at a visit to the US. I'll be glad to show you around.
Oh yeah, I feel the need to clarify something. For all you guys who hate the "have a nice day" American expression. I find it is meant by us exactly how your "Cheers." Why does it bother some of you so?
