Accrington Web - View Single Post - Accy web meets and school 1/2 term (October)

Does anyone have any idea which weekend the Accrington district schools will be having their half-term break in October ? and does it coincide with the Accy web meet up, OK reason for question .....a couple of your off-shore members ( Junetta in Tenerife, and myself in California) would like to meet up again after nearly 40 years , and we thought an Accy web meet would be the ideal place (since this is where we tracked each other down) Junetta's provisional plans include being in Ossy for her nephews 1/2 term in October and my schedule for an October trip to Germany is flexible enough to fit a long weekend side trip in to my old home town . We would both love to meet up again and also with the folks we have come to know on-line over the past couple of years,
note, the weekend will probably include a pub crawl/pilgramage of various spots including Holland st. Newark st. Bridge Inn, Hope and Anchor ,Oak Tree ? on B,Burn rd. near Church border, Derby, Blue Dahlia cafe, and whatever the Pickwick is these days , site of the old Jazz club (where I first met Junetta, she copped off with my mate and i got her friend) and other spots around town .
