Yep, railcard for individual person only. You should be able to get it from Accy station, I got my family railcard from there. As a general rule if you make more than 1 train journey a year a railcard will pay for itself.

Don't know how much the bus is to Manchester but on the day you want to go to London you can still pick up a single ticket for £12.85 each way ( with railcard ) from Manchester Piccadily
