came across this item about young-uns and booze

a mother in Virginia has been jailed for allowing underage teens access to alcohol . (ok the drinking age in the US is 21 ,unfair in my opinion) but allowing that it is 18 in the UK do you think that an adult in the UK should get jail time for supplying booze to the underage or just the usual slap on the wrist ?

Brian this is in your neck of the woods ..whats the local opinion ?
