It depends on how you define 'supplying booze'. If it is purchasing cans and bottles on behalf of those who are legally too young to buy it for themselves then yes I think they should be dealt with severely. They have broken the law. If it's parents in their own homes giving a sip of sherry to their own kids at Christmas or whatever then no I don't think that should be regarded as criminal but the question then is where do you draw that line because I could imagine some parents finding it highly amusing to get their toddler drunk.

As someone who doesn't drink I wouldn't give any alcohol to my kids and I wouldn't want anyone else to do so either. It's then up to them when they are old enough to make their own choices.
